About The Role
We are looking for two skilled Data Engineers with experience in AWS and MuleSoft to join our client's engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integrations to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a cloud-native environment, building modern data solutions that drive impact across the organization.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and EMR
Develop and manage MuleSoft integrations to connect various internal and external systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and application developers
Ensure the quality, integrity, and availability of data through monitoring and validation processes
Implement data security, access control, and governance best practices
Automate data workflows and build APIs for data access where applicable
Support real-time and batch processing use cases
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Strong proficiency in AWS data ecosystem (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, etc.)
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft for API development and system integration
Proficiency in Python or Java, and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development
Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data modeling
Familiarity with data lake and data warehouse architectures
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft certification(s)
AWS certification(s)
Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience in agile development environments
Initial contract is 6 months, with strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
