Project Details
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing QA strategies, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to establish and uphold testing best practices, as well as mentor others in QA methodologies.
Job requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, policies, and procedures for IT solutions.
Design and own QA roadmaps to ensure scalable, repeatable, and measurable testing practices.
Lead test planning, automation, execution, and defect tracking for multiple projects.
Ensure documentation and reporting standards are met across test activities.
Define and execute risk mitigation and contingency strategies related to QA.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align QA with business objectives.
Evaluate and integrate testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
Drive root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
Coordinate and oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Report QA status, risks, and progress to leadership and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within IT or professional services organizations.
Experience identifying risks within projects and proposing mitigation strategies.
Strong experience writing and executing test plans across multiple methodologies: functional, regression, load, smoke, negative, and mobile.
Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with technical and business audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and QA automation frameworks.
