About The Role
We are seeking two Senior Backend Engineers with deep expertise in FastAPI, LangChain, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to help scale and optimize our AI-powered platform. You will work alongside our Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement highly performant backend services that integrate with vector databases (Pinecone or equivalent) and support white-label deployments.

Project context
AI platform with retrieval augmented generation, multi tenant architecture, white label deployments. Current stack includes Python, FastAPI, Supabase, Pinecone, with a possible migration to Google Cloud.

What you will do

  • Design and build FastAPI services that power RAG and agent features

  • Integrate LangChain pipelines, embeddings, and vector search with Pinecone or a comparable store

  • Model multi tenant data structures in Supabase or Postgres, including sorting and access by Company ID

  • Implement authentication, rate limiting, pagination, and caching

  • Ship production grade APIs with tracing, logging, and metrics

  • Make the platform easy to white label, including tenant configuration and theming hooks

  • Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and support CI CD

What you will bring

  • 5 plus years of backend experience in Python

  • Strong FastAPI skills, including dependency injection and async patterns

  • Hands on work with LangChain and RAG style architectures

  • Experience with vector databases, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Qdrant

  • Solid SQL and schema design for multi tenancy, Supabase or Postgres preferred

  • Familiarity with observability and tracing, OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, LangSmith, or similar

Nice to have

  • GCP experience, Cloud Run, GKE, Vertex AI, or Pub Sub

  • Background jobs and pipelines, Celery or Redis queues

  • Security hardening for SaaS, tenant isolation and secrets management
