Project Context
You will join a distributed engineering team working on a medical focused platform with real time communication components. The majority of the team is based in Karachi and follows coordinated workflows across time zones.

Role Overview
We are looking for a senior full stack engineer with strong experience in modern Node and Nest based backend systems, event driven architecture, and real time communication frameworks. The ideal candidate has ownership experience within high availability environments and is comfortable working in distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node and Nest
• Work with real time communication features, specifically WebRTC and Amazon Chime
• Integrate services with AWS based infrastructure and AWS managed components
• Build and optimize data models and queries within PostgreSQL
• Implement caching and performance improvements using Redis
• Develop and scale API endpoints and service interactions
• Work with event driven workflows and distributed service patterns
• Collaborate with cross functional teams across Karachi and Europe
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and release planning

Tech Requirements
• Strong Node.js and NestJS
• AWS services such as Lambda, Chime, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, or similar
• PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Redis or similar in memory caching
• Experience with WebRTC and ideally Amazon Chime
• Experience designing and consuming APIs
• Familiarity with event driven systems

Profile
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Comfortable with ownership of features and technical decisions
• Strong communication skills and autonomy

Nice to Have
• Experience working within healthcare or medical related environments
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or GDPR
• Experience with real time data or streaming products

Working Hours: Central European Time

Availability: ASAP, with a maximum two week notice period.
