Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Google Analytics Developer to join our client's AdTech squad. This individual will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, validating, and troubleshooting analytics and media-conversion tracking across digital properties.

The ideal candidate has strong Google Analytics and tag-management experience, along with direct experience implementing conversion tracking for Meta, X, TikTok, and other advertising platforms. Strong written English is essential because this person will communicate directly with advertising-platform vendors through email.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement, maintain, and enhance Google Analytics tracking across websites and digital experiences.

  • Configure and manage events, conversions, parameters, audiences, and related measurement requirements.

  • Implement and maintain media-conversion tags for Meta, X, TikTok, and other advertising platforms.

  • Use Google Tag Manager to configure, test, publish, and troubleshoot analytics and advertising tags.

  • Translate business and media-measurement requirements into technical tracking specifications.

  • Develop and maintain digital data layers and event-tracking frameworks.

  • Partner with media, marketing, analytics, engineering, QA, and AdTech teams.

  • Validate that conversion events are firing correctly and that data is being received accurately by analytics and advertising platforms.

  • Diagnose and resolve tracking discrepancies, duplicate events, missing conversions, attribution issues, and data-quality problems.

  • Coordinate directly with advertising-platform vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues.

  • Communicate implementation details, questions, findings, and next steps clearly through written English.

  • Create and maintain tagging documentation, measurement plans, event taxonomies, and implementation guides.

  • Support privacy-conscious tracking practices, consent-management requirements, and applicable data-governance standards.

  • Monitor existing implementations and provide ongoing operational support.

  • Experience with conversion tagging for platforms such as X, TikTok, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or similar media channels.

  • Strong understanding of events, conversions, parameters, attribution, data layers, and tag-management architecture.

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and browser-development tools.

  • Experience testing and debugging analytics and advertising tags.

  • Ability to troubleshoot tracking discrepancies and data-quality issues across multiple platforms.

  • Experience translating marketing and measurement requirements into technical implementations.

  • Strong written English skills, including the ability to communicate directly and professionally with advertising vendors by email.
